I was reading recently about the death of Chris Peterson, a pioneering Positive Psychologist whose research focused on character strengths.
His trademark phrase was 'other people matter' and he was concerned with finding ways to keep from standing in someone else's light.

Right there, those words. I stop. And I press myself to think more critically, about who I am and how I exist in the world, in relation to other people.
